“You’ll find a flexibility at our firm you won’t see anywhere else. We’re focused on your experience from a financial, emotional and spiritual aspect, so you walk away feeling supported and helped.”

Suzanne T. Prescott is a founding partner of the family law firm Bivek Brubaker & Prescott LLC. In her words: “My partners and I share a belief that getting the best result for our clients does not always have to involve long, expensive, contentious Court battles. I view divorce as the new beginning in my clients’ lives, and I focus on obtaining the best starting point for them from all aspects – financially, emotionally, spiritually and structurally. I find purpose and joy in helping my clients and their families jump start their new possibilities from a position of strength.” In furtherance of her goals, Suzanne trained in Collaborative Law, which offers a structured, non-adversarial approach to divorce.

Following graduation from the University of Georgia School of Law, Suzanne has dedicated her entire career solely to practicing family law because “I don’t strive to be the best general attorney, I strive to be the best family law attorney so that my clients are assured that I provide exceptional representation, and that they can trust and count on me when I’m in their corner.” She is experienced in all aspects of family law, having represented all manners of clients – husband, wife, wealthy, underprivileged – in all manner of situations – contested divorce, uncontested divorce, custody, child support, agreement modification, adoption, negotiation of prenuptial agreements, and contempt actions.

Suzanne grew up in Connecticut, but headed south for college where she graduated cum laude from Emory University before conquering law school. When Suzanne is not advocating for her clients she is an avid runner with 2 marathons and countless half-marathons under her belt. She is a food and wine enthusiast who enjoys cooking, and she reserves her Fall Saturdays for Bulldog football and tailgating in Athens. Suzanne and her husband Ryan live in Smyrna, Georgia with their two children, Conner and Bronwyn, and their Chocolate Labradoodle named Penny.
